Anthem: What we know so far

Anthem is an action RPG/adventure currently under development. Presented at the E3 2017 conference, the game has impressed fans with photo-realistic graphics and a gameplay that seems really neat.

Release date: The game does not have a final release date yet. That said, the release window is 2018.

  • EA ordered the game from Bioware Studios. So it was during EA’s pre-E3 conference, the EA Play, that the announcement was made via a very short teaser. Then it was not until the Microsoft conference in California that we were able to see the gameplay.
  • Launching on XBOX One X, the game should be in 4K at 60 fps, as was the promise of the CEO of XBOX.
  • The game will use the Frostbite engine, which is used by Star Wars Battlefront 2, Battlefield 1 and FIFA 18.
  • BioWare Edmonton had already teased the game at E3 2014.
  • EA intends to feed the game for almost 10 years! With 4 years of development, the publisher wants to make the project really profitable.
  • The players will have to use (in solo or in COOP) the faculties of their armors like the jetpacks and the speed of sprint, as well as the high jumps.
