Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – A Quick Guide

This has to be one of my favourite games of 2015, and it’s definitely my favourite Assassin’s Creed. It’s set in Victorian London, in 1868, so expect to come across the likes of Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. The visuals are terrific, I couldn’t pick out one single flaw, while the missions are more exhilarating than other Assassin’s Creed games. The lead actors are also strong in this one, especially the one you love to hate, Crawford Starrick. He’s the villain Templar industrialist and mobster that you need to bring down. It really is a joy to move around London during the Victorian era, and I’m sure I wouldn’t like this game half as much if it was set somewhere else. The reviews are mostly favorable so I’m not the only one, but if you haven’t already, please try this game!

The evolution of video game graphics

Posted on December 15, 2015 at 10:00 pm

It’s only when we take some time to really think, when we fully grasp just how much has changed in video gaming. Think back to when you were at school playing Mario, Sonic or Echo the Dolphin. We were dazzled by the vivid colours and the fast paced gameplay, but we had no idea how much gaming would change in the next 5 years, let alone 15 years!

Now, we’re playing games with picturesque gameplay like GTA, FIFA and COD to name but a few. We almost feel as though we’re in the game, and we have no doubt that one day we’ll be playing a game that really does feel like real life! The evolution of video game graphics is something quite spectacular, so take a step back, think, and appreciate how great technological developments have been to gaming as whole. It really is mindblowing.
